The first day went pretty well.
I met with all the other nurses on our unit and the hospice team.
We talked about handling death and ways to tell when someone is close to it.
I work with a lot of people who have one foot in this world and another in the next.
I am happy to be apart of their team.

I work now from 10:30p.m.-7:30a.m.
I work forty plus hours a week now.
I am excited for this.
I get full benefits and I work for a union.
The grave yard shift will force me to buy black curtains.
